Our rights have been trampled on, and our state is changing before our very eyes! It is time for the people who love this great state to get organized and get serious about returning to the Idaho way of living and working. If you would like to help me with this mission, please sign up for my Growing Freedom Idaho updates to join our team.
These last few months have shown us how crippling outside influences can be to Idaho. We have also seen clearly how a power craving, out-of-control government can pounce, instantaneously, on an opportunity to act recklessly, suspend freedoms and destroy economies.
We are still in the throes of this madness. But now more than ever, Idaho government at all levels needs to offer creative ways to jump-start our businesses, start reducing or suspending certain taxes, limit licensing requirements on businesses, and encourage growth through decreasing and eliminating government hurdles. Moreover, this is the time for Idaho government’s full attention to be on working diligently to become a self-sufficient state, independent of federal handouts and subsidies. If Idaho embraces a responsible-government mentality, our citizens will engage and guide instead of protesting and rebelling.
What can you do to Help Freedom Grow in Idaho?
Here is a list of ten suggested action items you can do to help make a difference in changing the mindset of Idaho government personnel. Commit to do the following in the next 30 days:
- Pray for our state and country daily.
- Call my elected legislators and strongly urge them to return to session and rein in our Governor’s unconstitutional edict and his unchecked distribution efforts of federal emergency relief money.
- Identify tyrannical behavior in any elected officials within my jurisdictions who are enforcing unconstitutional edicts, and then expose them and vote against them in the next election.
- Educate myself through a civics or state constitution class to better understand our Republic system so I can better engage with government.
- Commit to take a strong role in educating my children including homeschooling them.
- Join or support groups that pledge to protect my health care freedom, my 2nd amendment rights, my freedom of speech, and my freedom to publicly gather peacefully.
- Open my business or church or support businesses and churches who understand that all businesses and churches are essential in Idaho and America and that no governmental official is entitled to pick and choose what an essential business is.
- Learn about my unalienable rights and educate five people on these unalienable rights and how to protect them.
- Donate time or money to help candidates running for office who have either proven to protect my freedoms or whose campaign platform clearly identifies their intent to protect my freedoms.
- Turn off the television and search for factual information from multiple sources and not allow myself to be duped by the media.
This effort to return Idaho to a state where freedom and individual rights matter is gaining momentum across the state. I will continue to use my position and contacts to help in this fight, as I believe Idaho is worth fighting for and saving to ensure the Idaho way of conservative traditional values, and that the rewards of hard work are protected for future generations.
In Liberty,
Rep. Heather Scott
